Vedatya, established in 2000, offers degree, diploma, and certificate programs through its four schools of excellence – Hotel School, Culinary School, Design School & Business School.
Our excellence in student centricity, as defined by global industry partnerships, international academic programs, and foreign-trained faculty, is why our students have international and domestic internship opportunities & full-time jobs in countries such as France, UAE, Mauritius, Thailand, etc.
The name Vedatya, which means “Source of Knowledge”, is derived from two separate Hindi words – “Ved” which means “Knowledge” and “Aditya” which means “Sun”. It reflects our core mission of providing students with quality education through a team of research driven faculty and world class curriculum.
The institute offers internationally recognized undergraduate and postgraduate programs of study in the professional areas of hospitality management, business management, healthcare, and other fields of study. Its campus, located in Gurgaon – Sohna Road, is fully integrated with academic, recreational, and residential facilities for students.
Vedatya has an academic partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) in the hospitality industry, in the form of an IHG Academy, and with Columbia Asia Hospitals in the healthcare industry. We are also the first institute in India to have an agreement with IHG to build an internationally branded on-campus training hotel, Holiday Inn.
Vedatya is owned and operated by the Umak Group, the holding entity of Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi, Radisson Blu Varanasi, and a restaurant chain called The Great Kabab Factory.
