Our applied approach results in both domestic and international internships, industry mentorship programs, student-led design installations, events on campus, and on-campus organic farming initiatives that are part of the hospitality curriculum.

The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) was established in year 2000 as the institute’s first school.

SHTM provides its students the knowledge, skills and competencies for a career in the international hospitality and tourism industry. Its programmes are designed to empower students with a complete range of managerial skills both at a conceptual and at an operational level, supported by practical training and a Supervised Work Experience (SWE).

It’s a testament to SHTM’s quality of education that 26% of it’s graduates are placed in management trainee positions (a fast track path to becoming a general manager) as against an industry average of 2%.
