Budding Chef Competition | 2018

About the Event

The Budding Chef Competition of the previous years has been a huge success with nearly 50 schools participating each year. It is indeed a fantastic opportunity for the participants to demonstrate their skills, creativity and passion for a potential culinary pathway.

Each team needs to prepare a two course menu choosing from a starter and a dessert. The teams are required to prepare meals for 2 portions only. The teams will be asked to cook, plate their dish and present it in an innovative manner. Performance of the competition will be judged on nutritional value, presentation, taste, creativity, cleanliness and least wastage by professional chefs.

Top ten teams will compete for the title and the finalists need to prepare one main course with two accompaniments, for which ingredients will be procured from Vedatya farm.
