About the Event
The Budding Chef Competition in previous years has been a huge success with nearly 50 schools participating each year. It is indeed a fantastic opportunity for the participants to demonstrate their skills, creativity and passion for a potential culinary pathway.
Each team needs to prepare a two course menu choosing from a starter and a dessert. The teams are required to prepare meals for 2 portions only. The teams will be asked to cook, plate their dish and present it in an innovative manner. Performance of the competition will be judged by professional chefs on the basis of nutritional value, presentation, taste, creativity, cleanliness and least wastage.
Top teams will compete for the title in the final competition in December amongst an audience of over 300 people.
