The focus of this research is to document and analyse the impact of Covid epidemic on women employability in the hospitality sector in India. The research is focused to highlight the impact of pandemic on women working in entry and mid-level segment roles. The study intends to propose initiatives that can be taken by the hospitality industry to respond to a range of unique challenges that women have faced and continue to face, with an intent to encourage and facilitate them to return to work. The paper relies on a substantial primary research effort which was supported by the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) hospitality tourism council.
