Great cocktails aren’t just made, they’re crafted with both knowledge and skill. Mixology is where understanding the science of drinks – the “why” behind the flavors – meets the art of making them well – the “how.” True mastery for a bartender means knowing the rules and having the talent to create something special.

Let’s look at what you’ll be learning:

1. Classic Cocktail Methodologies and Versions

  • Until you construct your classics, you have to understand the classics. You’ll get to know how the iconic
  • cocktails that have stood along with time, and how to creatively adjust them.
  • Big Classic Cocktail names: Mojito, Margarita, Old Fashioned, Martini, Negroni, Cosmopolitan, etc.
  • Identify the building of these joyful drinks (base spirit, modifier, and mixer).
  • Examine versions founded on flavours likening and customer inquiries.

Well these matters: Classic cocktails are your base, learning them provides you the assurance to test and introduce something new.

2. Brining Signature Cocktails/Mocktails

  • This is where your imagination radiates. Applying how and what you’ve scholarly gained; you’ll start crafting your own drinks.
  • Connect flavours, textures, and decorations narrate a narrative in a glass of hopes.
  • Master on directing names, style of making, and presenting your own drinks.
  • Understand how to plan a cocktail/beverage menu for a bar, restaurant, or an affair.

Award: You’ll exhibit your own signature cocktail to your guides and noblemen.

3. Flavour Matching and Equalizing

  • Good cocktails are always on balance/equalizing – sweet, sour, bitter, and strong. In this segment you’ll master your taste and unfold bartender’s second sight for flavours.
  • Research how drink elements mingle (e.g. citrus, sweet, herbs etc.).
  • Recognize sensory outlines: mouth feel, aroma, and aftertaste when you taste a drink.
  • Use perfect ingredients/spices and own-made syrups or infusions please your guest’s experience.
  • You’ll be surprised how much of bartending is actually about taste and smell!

4. Advanced Mixology Techniques

  • Ready to wow your guests? Here’s where you’ll learn techniques that bring theatre and elegance to your service.
  • Smoking, flaming, and layering cocktails.
  • Using bar chemistry: fat-washing, infusions, and clarifications
  • Garnishing like a pro: citrus peels, edible flowers, dehydrated fruits, flavored foams.
