In strategic management literature the notion of resource-based view as well as dynamic capabilities perspective have become extremely popular. Both the perspectives provided answers to strategy scholars and managers alike regarding how firms could attain competitive advantage. Resource based view provided a static perspective while dynamic capabilities provided an active comprehension regarding the same to strategists. However, managers delving on business strategy sought an applied perspective. Further, managers required an integrated perspective covering both resources based as well as dynamic capabilities views. This had been lacking in literature. In this article, the author integrated both resource-based view and dynamic capabilities perspectives to arrive at a set of visual aids that would help leadership, strategy managers to plan and implement strategy to attain competitive advantage
