School of Business Management offers the Programme in Mass Communication (PMC) which is a comprehensive programme that covers the knowledge and skills required in a wide range of mass communication domains like corporate business communication, public relations, print journalism, television journalism, advertising communications, electronic mass media etc.
The goal of the program is to enable students in understanding and developing the unique and much sought-after skills required for successfully functioning and managing communication and related business functions, an organizational unit, or a media enterprise.
This course will provide a learner with an appreciation of the theoretical issues involved in the study of ‘mass communication’ whilst also helping one to develop a range of practical skills with the help of our unique applied pedagogy to provide students with a deeper level of expertise within a particular discipline. The third year of study will commence with a 12 week Internship or Live Project.
This will expose the student to the opportunity to gain practical aspects of working in the chosen industry. They will therefore be able to make an informed decision about which area to choose as a career path.
The learners would have, over the duration of the programme, developed a wide range of skills and competencies that would allow them to build career paths in chosen sub-domains of the larger mass communication ecosystem.
*Student will additionally be enrolled on B. Com. programme with IGNOU
Class 12 of the Indian School System with minimum 50% (in best 4 subjects) in CBSE, ICSE or equivalent accreditation. (Given the cancellation of class 12th board exams, we are processing all applicants based on their pre-board results.)
Test to establish aptitude and an interview will be conducted
Selection is based on personal interview and aptitude test
A candidate can either fill online application form or download it from the website and send the duly filled application form to the address mentioned on the form along with a draft of Rs.1500 drawn in the favour of “Umak Educational Trust” payable at Gurugram. Candidate can also obtain the application form from the Institute’s Admission Office by depositing Rs.1500 in cash

Terms and Conditions
A refundable programme security deposit of Rs. 15,000 is to be paid at the time of admission. This is fully refundable when the student completes the programme or for some reason when he/she leaves the programme.
If a student leaves the program in the middle of an academic year, then he/she is liable to pay half the annual fee for the particular year.
Any taxes as applicable by law are not included in fees and will be charged additionally.
Fee Refund Policy
The registration fee is refundable only in case the candidate fails or does not meet the 50% marks requirement (in best 4 subjects) in class XII or equivalent exams. It will not be refunded under any other circumstances.
