Between completing backlog assignments and preparing to top exams, a student often forgets the basic understanding of life, striking a balance between academics and co-curricular activities without knowing that they should go hand in hand. The Sports club is committed to providing healthy sporting habits among the students. It helps to learn teamwork at work, and coordination among diverse cultural & ethnic groups and mainly infuses discipline & instills the value system in one individual. Value of time, precision & competitiveness is the major learning points apart from communication, coordination & teamwork. The diverse and multicultural environment of Vedatya Institute not only focuses on giving the best education and educational platform for the academic excellence of a student but also gives space to realize one’s hidden talent in any sporting activity.
Vedatya sports club aims at the physical development of students beyond academic excellence outside the classroom. The institute provides facilities for various sports like Cricket, Football, Carom, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Chess, Badminton, etc.
Objectives:
To inculcate in the budding minds, a love for the game.
To help develop all-round personalities of students/staffs.
To prepare students/staff for all walks of life and to toughen them up mentally to face challenges.
Develop and grow the quality of sportsmanship.
To develop a spirit of teamwork.
To prepare students to win inter-college/university prizes and awards.
Functional Responsibilities:
To call at least two meetings in a year, one in the beginning and one in mid of the session.
To create congenial atmosphere for all participants and ensure equity.
To discuss and plan events for all sports-related activities.
